Left Coast Linemen was established in 2022 by retired professional offensive linemen, Erik Magnuson, and Left Coast Athletix owner, Jose Mohler, to focus on linemen.

Erik Magnuson started his career at La Costa Canyon high school as left tackle. As a high school linemen, he received three time All CIF Section Honors, two time All State Team, Offensive Player of the Year in the Avocado League in 2011, and Second Team San Diego All Century Left Tackle. He was a four star recruit and Army All American in 2011. He earned a full ride scholarship to University of Michigan.

Erik played at University of Michigan where he started 37 games earning him two All Big Ten Honors, including first team All Big Ten in 2016. Erik was named Offensive Linemen of the year his senior year for the University of Michigan. He went on to play for the San Francisco 49ers, Buffalo Bills, and Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders. Erik played in both college and the NFL as a tackle, guard, and center. Erik has spent the past two seasons as offensive line coach and co-offensive coordinator at La Costa Canyon High School.

After retiring from the NFL, Erik has decided to take his passion for football and put it into developing athletes. With a complete understanding of what it takes to win the line of scrimmage, he is highly equipped to train young linemen and tight ends on what it takes to perform in the trenches.
